Ohiopyle Historical Video

The town of Ohiopyle has a rich and interesting history that should be made accessible to all park visitors. In the transformation of the Western Maryland Train Station into a visitor center, it was desired to create a variety of interpretive features including an audio-visual historical display. With the construction of a new office with a meeting room, the rear of the train station will be available for a video viewing area. The goal is to create a ten-minute video that can be set to run on a continuous loop along with Laurel Highlands Visitor Bureau media. The Friends of Ohiopyle and Ohiopyle State Park Staff, in coordination with a matching grant from the National Road Heritage Corridor, will work together on script and production.
