Photo & Film Contest
Submissions for the first annual photography/film contest are due by August 1, 2008.
The still images will be put on display at the Music In The Mountains Festival, August 30-31, 2008 and the public will be able to vote for their favorite. If equipment is available, the videos will be available for public judging as well. Final photography and video submissions will be viewed and judged by park staff and members of the Friends of Ohiopyle.
Submissions will be broken into professional and amateur groups. Professional photographers are those earning $250 or more in photos or photographic services a year.
Prizes will be awarded for the top submissions in each category. Twelve photos will be chosen to appear in the Friends of Ohiopyle 2009 Calendar.
STILL PHOTOGRAPHY: Images must be taken within Ohiopyle State Park. Submission fee $5. Photos should be matted 8x10 images.
MOTION FILM: Images must contain some footage at Ohiopyle State Park. Submission fee $15. May be mixed footage of the different types of recreation and natural images.
Children 12 and under do not have to pay submission fee and will be judged separately.
