Photo & Film Contest
Event Date September 5th & 6th, 2009
Submissions for the first annual photography contest are due by September 1, 2009.
Photographs will be put on display at the Music In The Mountains festival and the public will be able to vote for their favorite. Final photography submissions will be viewed and judged by park staff and members of the Friends of Ohiopyle.
Submissions will be broken into professional and amateur groups. Professional photographers are those earning $250 or more in photos or photographic services a year.
Winning photographs will be placed in the 2011 Friends of Ohiopyle calendar. Prizes will be awarded for the top submissions in each category.
STILL PHOTOGRAPHY: Images must be taken within Ohiopyle State Park. Submission fee $10. Photos should be matted 8x10 images and digital image must be submitted at time of entry. Be sure to title your entry.
Category I : Nature Photography
Category II : Recreation Images
Children 12 and under do not have to pay submission fee and will be judged separately.
